The Pickering Rod and Gun Club, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the City of Pickering jointly donated the dock that sits behind this carved wooden statue. The statue itself depicts a young boy proudly showing off his humble catch. Blair Baker created this statue carving while he worked for the City of Pickering, after being asked to design something to hold the dock’s commemorative plaque.
The Area of Enchantment is a place of magic. It’s a place that caters to the child in each of us. This mystical trail meanders through a dense stand of trees along the Duffin’s Creek. Carvings of mythological creatures and characters adorn the trunks of dead trees as well as the damaged areas on living trees.
"Dreamscape" is a towering art piece located at Pickering Town Centre, Glenanna Blvd., Pickering made by Edward Falkenberg in 1999. As a part of the Paradise Revisited series, it is the largest piece in this series, standing with a total of 17 feet (5.2 metres) of stainless steel, resembling a utopian treehouse.

The Spirits of Pickering are sculptures that represent the people of Pickering. It shows the many parts of life that are embodied. And each includes parts that can be moved and played with, most often being bells or chimes. In a way, this shows how we can interact with others in the community, much like we can interact with the moving parts of these sculptures.

The Community Canvas is a collage that was created through community collaboration. 150 panels of artwork to celebrate 150 years – three of Tom’s paintings were chosen to be broken down into a 50-square template for the Pickering community to create their own original piece.
