Due to ongoing construction the Beachfront Park splash pad is closed until further notice.
The large section of Dunmoore Park will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance Thursday, May 15, 2025 until Thursday, June 5, 2025 the gates will be locked, the smaller portion of the park will still be accessible for use.
The turf area beside the playground at Usman Park will be temporarily closed for maintenance and a temporary fence put in place, the playground beside this area will remain unaffected and open for use. From Thursday, May 15, 2025 until approximately Thursday, June 5, 2025.
May 13, 2025 - Take notice that the Council of the City of Pickering will hold an electronic statutory public meeting pursuant to The Development Charges Act, 1997, regarding proposed development charge rates and policies that will be applied in the City (including Seaton). It is proposed that the enactment of a new Development Charges By-law by Council would occur on July 1st, 2025. The public meeting will be held on Monday, June 9th, 2025 immediately after the Executive Committee Meeting.

Bruce Handscomb Memorial Park - 2025 Dragon Boat Challenge Event
The City of Pickering will be installing temporary parking restrictions and establishing a pick-up and drop-off zone on a portion of Breezy Drive fronting Bruce Handscomb Memorial Park and placing parking restrictions on one side of Elvira Court.
